Henry and June - Then and Now

Double album pour Henry and June et son « Then and Now ». Du blues version garage, guitares, slide, voix, harmo saturés qui ne plaira surement pas aux puristes même si, c'est  teinté à mort de rock'n'roll. Quelques clins d'œil pour oreilles expertes qui auront reconnues des influences "winteriennes", "Hendrixiennes" ou de la grosse rythmique façon G. Thorogood dans cette mixture musicale.

Certains iront crier au scandale à l'écoute du mythe "That's All Righ", (était-ce bien nécessaire de mettre une version sur chaque album ??) et ce n’est pas non plus les titres «live» qui vont arranger les choses, bien au contraire. Du grain à moudre donc, pour les longues soirées d’hiver qui arrivent tout doucement.

Pour ou contre, blues ou pas, dans tous les cas, ce groupe fera parler, controverser, polémiquer et j’en passe (tiens qu’est-ce qu’il vient faire là ?)

Une nouvelle approche du blues que certains ont déjà tenté pour sortir un peu des sentiers battus et peut être aussi pour donner un peu de sang neuf à ce style.                                                                                           

A ne pas mettre dans toutes les mains pour cause de bouleversement.
