Shar Baby - 11 O´Clock Blues 2011

Cette fille d'Alabama nous arrive avec cette nouvelle galette. Un brûlot de 11 titres qui ne commencait pourtant pas génial, voir même un peu mou du genoux. Mais dès le 3 troisième titre, The Stalker , titre d'ailleurs composé par une consoeur ROSIE BRITTAIN, le trio met le turbo. Le gratteux a même appris ses gammes bbkingniennes car dans ce titre, ça ne le gène même pas de repomper un léger riff de la Lucill'guitar.  Et, c'est parti pour un bon moment d'éclate. Preuve encore une fois qu'il n est pas nécessaire d'être 30 ou 40 pour que le résultat soit bon. Ce n'est pas l'album de la super star qu'on attend au tournant, mais il est bon de revenir à la simplicité et c'est le cas avec ce disque. Sincèrité, humilité sont les Maître Mots de ce disque. Ne connaissant pas ses autres albums, mais en lisant sa biographie, je pense que cette femme est restée la même avec la musique qu'elle propose. N'est-ce pas un peu ce que l'on apprend à l'église ( elle a sûrement écouté les bonnes paroles de son père à l'époque chanteur de Gospel). En tout cas, c'est un album que je vous conseille de vous mettre au chaud dans un coin de votre discothèque. Un revival 70's par moment, qui ne gène en aucune mesure, bien au contraire. Et ça l'est dit sur la pochette : Shar Baby, c'est un style et un nouveau chemin pour vous de découvrir le blues.  

This girl of Alabama arrives at us with this new cd. A firebrand of 11 title which not began nevertheless not brilliant, to see even a little bit soft of knees. But with the third track, The Stalker, titles moreover composed by ROSIE BRITTAIN, the trio puts the turbo. Proof once again that it n is not necessary to be 30 or 40 so that the result is good. It is not the album from the great star for whom we expect in the bend, but it is good to return to the simplicity and it is the case with this record. Sincerity, humility are Magics words of this cd. Not knowing his other albums, but by reading her biography, I think that this woman remained the same with the music which she proposes. It is not a little what we teach the church ( She certainly listened to the good words of his father in the period singer of Gospel). In any case, it is an album which I recommend you to put yourselves in the warmth in a place of your records collection.
